Clay Interlocking Tile
Pictured above is a new Ludowici Classic tile roof, matching trim accessories and custom copper fabrication installed by Renaissance Roofing, Inc. at Boystown, NE. The original roofing systems at Boystown were all badly damaged by a significant hail storm and were replaced entirely over a two year span of time.
An interlocking tile is a flat tile with interlocking channels along the sides and/ or the tops of each individual tile. Interlocking tiles vary in overall length, width and butt end thickness. These tiles are available in numerous colors and surface textures including smooth, scored, weathered, stone emulated and bark emulated textures. Installed, these tiles appear similar to the color and shape of shingle tiles, however these tiles are considerably lighter in weight.
