This 75-year-old Vermont Slate roof was removed from a large residence near Chicago, IL. With the residence being deconstructed piece by piece, extra attention and care was put into the removal and handling of this slate. Each slate measures 20” in length and widths ranging from 10”, 11” and 12” on average with thicknesses ranging from 3/8” minimum and all the way up to 1-1/2” Mansion style slabs. The predominant colors are Non-Fading Gray/ Green and Royal Purple. This slate sets the standard in overall appeal and texture for a reclaimed roof that will last for another generation.
